How we collect and use your information

What information do we collect?

We collect information about how people use Velonode, including both account-holders and non-account-holders. This includes general usage information, and may include things such as the number and frequency of visitors, which pages or features of Velonode people have visited, which links on Velonode they have clicked on, and the length of those visits. Some of this information may be associated with the IP Address used to access Velonode, and some may be associated with your Velonode account, such as the topics you search for and the help pages that you visit.

We also collect information from you when you register on our site. When registering on, as appropriate, you will be asked to enter your name, e-mail adress, and region. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

(a) To personalize your experience, your information helps us to better resond to your individual needs.

(b) To to figure out  how account-holders and non-account-holders use Velonode so that we can analyze and improve the site. We may also use some of this information in aggregate form, that is, as a statistical measure related to all of our users that won’t identify you personally.

(c) Your information, weather public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the service requested by the customer.

(d) The email adress you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates or service information etc.

(e) To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature.

Information Related to Your Web Browser

We automatically receive and record information from your web browser when you interact with Velonode. That information might include your browser type and version, what sort of device you are using, your operating system and version, the website or service that referred you to Velonode, the date and time of each web request you make, your screen display information, and information from any cookies we have placed on your web browser.

IP Address Information

In some interactions, such as when you log into Velonode or load a web page from Velonode, we may collect and store your Internet Protocol Address, usually known as an IP address. For the most part, we use IP address information to fight spam, malware, and identity theft; we also may use it to personalize Velonode for you. We also use IP Address information to generate aggregate, non-identifying, information about how people use Velonode.

Do we use cookies?

Yes, we use cookies to enable our servers to recognize your web browser and tell us how and when you use Velonode. Children’s Policy

Velonode does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register as Users. Velonode and its content are not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
