Bit of fun back in Pre-season for Bling and Orica while shooting for Craft and Etixx Nutrition.

So happy to see this bunch of really nice guys doing so well in Paris-Nice.

It’s been a while but I am heading the hour up to Girona. First time this year. Got a group of friends to show around cycling and of course I have to stop in on La Fabrica for my coffee hit.

Sadly I will miss these guys who are racing out of town (closer to my home in Barcelona ironically), but I will catch up with them for a shoot very soon. La…[Read more]

I have recently finished work on the website of Sommet Cycling. It’s been a labour of love and I will never be 100% finished and will always be tweaking it. If you visit us, I hope you find it interesting and inspiring.

Between there and here I hope to share even more of my work and journeys.

If climbing mountains, or full gas efforts on the bike distinguish the Pro’s from the rest of us, ride prep – especially in winter – is the leveller. We all have to assess the weather. Rug up right, or pay the consequences.
Sometimes I think it is even harder here where the sun still shines. Too much and you can still over heat, not enough, you…[Read more]

A bit of a preview of what I hope will be a great year ahead. I was up in Girona at La Fabrica cafe with Christian Meier to shoot the launch of the cafe’s new race team. I will be shooting them through the year as much as possible. Hopefully I can bring some interesting local Catalan insight to you all.
It’s exciting on a few levels though. With…[Read more]

The Classics are over. We slip into Stage Race mode now. I love the Classics and am already looking forward to next year. I need to re-adjust my mind into the longer format. With the Giro around the corner, I better do it quickly. It won’t be hard, I love the Giro.

Following quickly on the heels of the first Grand Tour of the year is the Dress…[Read more]

La Fabrica Girona, Girona and Montem.cc

Not only does Montem Cycle Club offer great rides, trips all over europe and a permanent chalet in the Alps for cyclists, they also have some great creative content and discoveries.
Here La Fabrica Girona, and Girona itself, are on show.

Montem Cycle Club is a new European cycling club and tour…[Read more]

    Peak District Winter Cycling.

A little piece about cycling in the Peak District in winter on the Montem Cycle Club news. I have a vested interest, working in partnership with them this year on photography, creative and cycling consultancy affairs. I wasn’t there for these rides, looks a bit chilly for my Barcelona skin.
I will be there, in…[Read more]

A cycle club and a bit of self congratulatory sharing.

I recently got asked to be part of the launch and development of a new international cycle club, Montem Cycle Club http://www.montem.cc

It’s a tour company and a bike club offering all the trappings of the high end of both those entities.

I have provided some photography, some words and…[Read more]

The final event on the Horta Velodrome in Barcelona before a much needed renovation. A pleasure to have the new local based, international outlook, cycling magazine Volata use my images alongside their words at a special event which also honoured Miquel Poblet.

The Rapha Womens 100 (#womens100) is this weekend. For me, as some may know, cycling is about the whole experience and that should be positive.

This event encapsulates what I think Rapha, in their heart of hearts initially set out to be – a company passionate about the experience of cycling. I am not a Rapha fanboy, but I appreciate there roots…[Read more]

Nothing but great feedback and “I want…” from my friends and contacts about Bookman. The dots on my roadie, everyone loves… I have a mate who wants to Bookmanify his Parlee with the gold/yellow dots, also his retro Bridgestone (yep, they made an MTB) with red or orange dots… Proud to have sparked an interest in my circles. Great kit. Love it.

    Pedalier.

A new magazine from Spain, just out with the second edition – number 61.

As it says on the cover, it’s about the love of cycling. Amor al Ciclismo. I spoke to one of the men behind it, at Quebrantahuesos in northern Spain, last weekend and, as suspected, this is not just a tag line. the philosophy in at his heart.

    If you understand…[Read more]
